ANGA: debate on international accord
Last week’s ANGA meeting closed with a debate on commercial relations with the European Union and Third Countries. For Confagricoltura’s young entrepreneurs it was a chance to get a good look at the diverse types of agreements, starting with the basics from WTO on commercial agreements of greater interest for farming and agri-food such as CETA with Canada, and that with Japan. The positive results of these Free Trade agreements were highlighted, just as the relative concerns were, with regard to those with Mercosur and countries of the southern shores of the Mediterranean. The initiative was part of a cycle of in-depth seminars wanted by ANGA and realized in collaboration with the Confederation.
