Conference of world’s Italian ambassadors

Three days of confrontation and reflection on the diplomatic network’s role with regard to security and Italy’s growth in an international reality in continuous growth faced with an acceleration imposed by the digital revolution and by communication.  The Farnesina’s General Secretary, Ambassador Elisabetta Belloni, gave the introductory welcome, while the opening speech was entrusted to Minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi, who was followed by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.  Various work sessions followed within which the Ambassadors faced the more actual and relevant themes linked to diplomacy’s role of continuous evolution, analysing the means, new and traditional, available to confront the present challenges.  The meeting was brought to a close by Minister Moavero Milanesi and by a speech from Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte.
