Low Countries: growth in agri-food exports

Dutch exports of agricultural products (including drinks) continue to rise, even though a major part of the growth registered in 2019 is linked more to price than volume and, for about a quarter, to re-exportation of products outside the country.
As communicated by CBS (Dutch Institute of Statisrics) and University of Wageningen.
With total 2019 exports of 95.4 billion euro (more than 4.6% compared to 2018), the Low Countries are confirmed as the world’s second largest exporter, after USA.  The lion’s share goes beyond the borders, flowers, bulbs and plants with exports reaching 9.5 billion euro.
