USA-Japan agri-food agreement

The United States and Japan have signed a bilateral commercial agreement that refers to an area that includes 30% of the planet’s GNP.  With regard to the farming and agri-food sectors it is all about a very serious agreement on free exchange: Japan will eliminate more than 90% of tariffs on products of the sector coming from America, and the USA will eliminate those on flowers, green tea and Japanese soya sauce.  The agreement also includes digital commerce and thematics relative to the automobile sector.
