Uzbekistan: the world’s fourth exporter of cherries

The EastFruit Company has announced that at the moment Uzbekistan holds fourth place amongst the world’s major exporters of cherries thanks to the active expansion of its orchards between 2013 and 2017.
In 2017, the country exported roughly 32.000 tons of cherries, 5.000 more than Spain over the same period.
The clients were almost completely Russia and Kazakhstan.
