Confederation Bodies

The General Assembly – Made up of the President, the members of the Executive Board, Union and Federation Presidents, and those of the National Category Federations, of ANGA, of the National Pensioner Union, and National Product Federations.

The General Assembly of Confagricoltura is the collegial body made up of: the Confederation President; the members of the Executive Boards, the Presidents of the National Category Federations, the President of the Confagricoltura youth - ANGA and the President of the National Pensioner Farmer’s Association A- ANPA; the Presidents of the National Product Federations; by the past President of Confagricoltura, provided that they are members of the Provincial /Interprovincial Farmers Union; the Presidents of the Provincial /Interprovincial Farmers Union; the Presidents of the Regional Farmers Federations,, the President of Agriturist, the President of Women’s Confagricoltura, and by the Presidents of the affiliated institutions.

The Steering Committee is made up of: the confederation President; the members of the Executive Board; the President of each National Category Federation; the Presidents of the Regional Federations/Unions and by the Presidents of the Provincial Unions of Trento and Bolzano; by the Presidents of the Confagricoltura youth - ANGA; by the President of the National Pensioner Farmer’s Association- ANPA; the President of Agriturist; the President of Women’s Confagricoltura. In the event of resolutions regarding financial matters, the President of the National Product Federation also participates, with a right to vote, representing the relevant financial sector.

The Executive Board carries out the directives established by the Assembly and the Executive Board, and deals with the carrying out of all other assignments or tasks as requested by the Executive Board.

The President Elect of Confagricoltura, Massimiliano Giansanti, is from Rome. An agricultural entrepreneur, he actively supports progress and innovation in farming, and promotes growth and innovation in the agricultural field.
