Information on the processing of personal data
(pursuant to European Regulation No. 679/2016 and Legislative Decree 196/03 and subsequent modifications and integrations)

The processing of personal data, both by electronic means and in paper form, will be carried out in compliance with the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject in accordance with the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency.

Data controller
The Data Controller is the General Confederation of Italian Agriculture - Confagricoltura, with registered office in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, n. 101 - 00186 Rome, who can be contacted at the following address: immagine@confagricoltura.it (hereinafter entitled).

Purpose and legal basis of processing
The processing of personal data will be carried out exclusively for the purpose of answering the questions and requests sent through the contact form available on the website.
The processing of personal data for this purpose is carried out based on the explicit consent of the data subject.

Nature of data provision
The provision of data and consent to the processing by the data subject for the aforementioned purpose is optional but at the same time it is a necessary condition to obtain the requested information.

Recipients/categories of recipients
The personal data collected will be processed exclusively by employees and collaborators of the Data Controller, in their capacity as authorized data processing personnel, with the use of appropriate security measures to guarantee the confidentiality of the data subject, undue access to third parties or to unauthorized personnel.

Personal data collected may be communicated to entities/companies promoted by the Data Controller or established at national and territorial level only in the event that this is necessary to achieve the purpose for which the said data was collected.

Furthermore, the data may be accessible to external parties involved in the organization of the site (such as technical service providers, hosting providers, IT companies) deemed suitable by the Data Controller, in their capacity as Data Processors, required to comply with specific contractual obligations of confidentiality.

Your personal data will not be subject to disclosure.

Data retention period
The personal data collected will be kept for the time necessary to manage the request formulated by the data subject.

Automated decision-making processes
The Data Controller does not in any way use automated decision-making processes concerning the personal data of the data subject.

Rights of the data subject
The User of the site may, at any time, contact the Controller to exercise the rights recognized in articles 15 to 21 of EU Regulation n° 2016/679 / EU as listed below.

  • Right of access: the data subject has the right to obtain confirmation that his or her personal data is being processed and in that case, to obtain access to personal data. The user may, at any time, request access to the following information: the purposes of processing, the categories of data processed, the recipients to whom personal data is or will be communicated, the data retention period, the existence of the user’s rights, the origin of the data, and the possible existence of an automated process.
  • Right of rectification: the data subject has the right to obtain from the data controller rectification of inaccurate pertinent personal data without unjustified delay. The data subject also has the right to obtain the integration of incomplete personal data, also by providing a supplementary statement. In this case, the data controller is obliged to inform each recipient to whom the personal data has been transmitted about possible corrections.
  • Right of cancellation: the data subject has the right to obtain cancellation of pertinent personal data without unjustified delay and request cancellation. Furthermore, if said data has been made public, the data controller will delete it and take reasonable, technical measures to inform data controllers that are processing personal data regarding the data subject’s request to cancel any copy of said personal data.
  • Right to limitation of treatment: if the data subject deems it appropriate, he or she may request limitation of the processing of pertinent personal data and limit the processing thereof in the future. In this case, the data controller will inform each of the recipients to whom the personal data has been transmitted regarding any processing limitations, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort.
  • Right to data portability: the data subject has the right to receive in a structured format, commonly used and readable by automatic devices, pertinent personal data and to request the preservation in view of further use for personal purposes. Furthermore, the data subject has the right to request a direct transmission of personal data to another data controller without hindrance, where this is technically possible.
  • Right to object to processing: the data subject has the right at any time, to object to the processing of pertinent personal data, for personal and unique reasons.

The data subject may also revoke the consent given for the processing at any time.

However, this act does not affect the validity of the processing performed by the Owner up to that time.

Wherever the User of the site deems that his data has been processed illegitimately and violates the rules and principles regarding the protection of personal data he or she has the right to contact the Supervisory Authority (Privacy Guarantor) to lodge a complaint, according to the modalities defined by the latter.
